Thank you for your email of 5 July regarding your problems with *** Construction in Bulgaria.
I understand your frustration and I regret the difficulty you find yourself in. However, as I stated in my previous email to you (attached), the enforcement of the relevant EU consumer law (in the present case the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive) is the task of the national authorities and courts of the Member States; the Commission has no enforcement powers. Further, as I previously pointed out, there certainly exist national laws which would allow action to be taken against the company in question. Again, only the national authorities and courts would be competent for their enforcement.
I would therefore reiterate my previous advice that you contact the relevant Bulgarian authorities or the European Consumer Centre in the UK or both. For your convenience, their details are below.
