Legal Matters and Legal Opinion
If you are employing the services of a lawyer in Bulgaria there are some important things that you need to know: 

  1. Finding a lawyer is not as easy as you may think; the lawyers in Bulgaria can be as varied as the developers. There are some excellent ones and some who call themselves lawyers who have no legal qualification at all.

  2. If you are still using the lawyer recommended by the developer when you signed your preliminary contracts we recommend that you find another lawyer without delay.

  3. We recommend that you ONLY employ the services of a lawyer who is registered with one of the Bulgarian Bar Associations. You should ask your lawyer the following questions. 
    • Where did they do their training? Sofia is recognised as having the best law faculty in Bulgaria.
    • Who have they worked for?
    • What legal experience do they have?
    • Which bar association are they registered with?

  4. Those listed on the British Embassy web site are NOT recommended but rather a list of English speaking lawyers

  5. If someone recommends a lawyer to you ask them these questions  

    • What has this lawyer achieved for you?
    •  How much did it cost?
    •  How long did they take?

     


UK – Bulgarian Lawyers

Dynamic Solutions

Dynamic Solutions is one of two lawyers that Dimov of Bulgarian Deals recommends to people as being a UK/Bulgarian lawyer with offices in London and Varna.  BPAG is in receipt of emails in which it has been stated that Dynamic Solutions is a UK/Bulgarian law firm. IT IS NOT. A closer investigation of this law firm reveals that there is NO UK office. All we could find was a UK phone number which of course when you ring, it transfers the call to a receptionist in the Bulgarian office.
A further examination of the Dynamic Solution web site reveals that the credentials of the lawyers are not shown on the site, there is no information about any of the lawyers. You have no idea who you will be dealing with, what their educational and employment history is, and which Bar association they have been admitted to (if any).

BPAG does not recommend Dynamic Solutions.
